Get the most from your massage.
Get comfortable:
Wear
loose, comfortable clothing and little or no jewelry.
If the temperature is too hot or cold, please let me
know.Disclose any
medical conditions:
Because some massages are incompatible with certain
health problems, it is important to tell me if you
have any medical conditions.
Refrain from a large meal before your appointment::
A good
rule of thumb is no food two hours before the session.
Communicate:
If you want to stop the massage at any time for any
reason, say so. If the pressure of the
massage is too strong or not deep enough, please let
me know
This is your time to relax and unwind:
Concentrate on your breathing and the touch of the
massage. Allow your body to relax and release
those tight muscles.
After Massage Care:
Please drink at least 4 eight ounces glasses of fresh
water. This will help your body eliminate toxins
released during your massage. To further help
your body eliminate toxins, I always recommend taking a
hot bath with 1/2 cup of baking soda to the water.
This will help you avoid the 'day after' massage
soreness that might accompany a deep tissue massage.
